Zondervan Acquires BibleGateway.com

BibleGateway.com, the site that almost always appears first when searching Google for a Bible verse, has a new owner: Zondervan.

Zondervan, a Christian publishing subsidiary of HarperCollins, announced its acquisition of the Bible search Web site today from Muskegon, Mich.-based Gospel Communications Inc. The acquisition includes Gospel.com.
