State Baptist Conventions Behind with Budgets

11/18/2008

State conventions across the country are holding their annual meetings within this time period, and many are realizing that the blow local churches have taken has trickled up to the state convention.

The Tennessee Baptist Convention is reporting a $1.4 million shortfall. The Georgia Baptist Convention amassed $49 million in revenue, $3 million short of the $52 million it projected.

More info on state conventions is available in the full article.
