Joel Osteen Praises Obama on Larry King Live

When Larry King asked the Rev. Joel Osteen about President-elect Barack Obama, Osteen’s response was simple and seemingly sincere: “I think he’s great.”

The megachurch pastor suggested that God puts certain people in office for a reason, and he thinks Obama can meet the challenges of the world with God’s help.

Osteen is the pastor of Lakewood Church in Houston, which is often dubbed the “largest church in the United States.” He did not endorse a candidate for president.
